Our Story
I collect scarves the way some people collect anything they can't stop noticing, carefully, one at a time, for reasons that don't always make sense to explain.
Most of what I owned lived folded in boxes. Worn a handful of times, admired, put away again. I don't think that's unusual. Most collectors end up there.
I looked at traditional framing and didn't like the trade-off. The textile gets protected, but it also goes flat, pressed under glass, more like a photograph of the scarf than the scarf itself. I wanted something with actual depth: an object that holds its own dimension, the way a piece of furniture or architecture does, not something you hang and forget.
ACRYLAÉ started from that. A way to keep the pieces I already loved somewhere I could actually see them.
